My Ampersand (&) Collection
Now, first off, I know that this is nothing new, & it's probably not the only (or by far the best*) & collection out there in the the l& of uu-uu-uu (get it? Sorry).
Been there, done that, got the glyph.
But I love &'s—that one up there's my favourite: can you tell which one it is?—& I couldn't bloody resist.
After all, I've got so many & I felt that seeing as I take the time to stop in the middle of streets, jump out in-front of moving cars &, generally, go miles out of my way to st& in front of the adorning shop/wall/gate/sign/anything only to take a picture (whilst being stared at by confused and unsettled by-passers) I might as well share them.
So here we are, a quite small, nice-ish, seen-it-done-better-before-collection of that friendly, little, latin 'et', or confused figure eight of a character, that is the ampers&.
Ohh, whilst I remember, as always I do accept contributions. Lionel (the regulars here should know about Dad) is already on the hunt—& he's far, better at it than I.
