N.B. Now, I've heard it said that sportsmen and women will "be looking to give 110% out there today" but, I've never heard a maths teacher say that. On the other hand I can remember a very angry maths teacher renouncing people who did claim they gave 110% with a great word—"pish".
No points to those who guessed we didn't see eye to eye as the above is probably a good example of my mathematical abilities.
On another note I also remember a teacher saying that if you couldn't draw a straight line or a perfect circle by hand, then graphic design wasn't for you.
Again no points for the eye to eye thing—he was the only teacher I was taller than at school.
