an apology

Well since you made it on here you're either click happy or you are genuinely interested in what I have to say, and that is this;

Now, when I said bad typography, it was meant to be a little joke about line breaks (cant have been that funny as you're here wanting to know what the hell it was that I meant). My boss at The Chase—Monsieur Lionel Hatch—is a great typographer (he knows more things about type than I do my own body) and he has instilled in me the importance of great line-breaks.

Note to Lionel:
Line, if you've been on here and seen how awful they are then I'm sorry, but this is what I'm going on to explain now.
End note.

I don't claim to be a Mr. Miyagi of type, however I am particular on it. And I'm afraid that I've had to turn a blind eye to my line breaks on this website as the css format doesn't quite cater for all of us (that age old Mac.vs.PC battle rages on) and so when I did format the breaks they came out good on one machine (Mac)—horrific on another (PC).

So, as your reeling back from the horror that you might find the state of these breaks in, just please know that I did want them to be good looking. It comes down to the fact that I want everyone to like and use the site—not just people with Macs (friendly nod to the Mac community), but PC users too.

However, here's the defiant statement to end.

I do want a user friendly experience for both format users but at the end of the day (it gets dark—sorry, I couldn't resist) this site was built—on a Mac—with people in mind that work in an industry where their standard format—a Mac—is the one that you'll get the best viewing on—a Mac.

But, I did try my best to compromise.

Oh, and one other thing (I promise I'll stop this soon). Now that the issue of what computer you have is out the door I'm going to now bang on about what browser you're reading this with.

You will probably already know how well or, lets face it, bad you can view this site but here is the running order anyway.

In first place we have Mozilla Firefox–the best browser for this site for both PC and Mac, a close second we have Safari—being great, but for Macs only and, finishing a far away third is Internet Explorer—no good on macs and rubbish for this site.
