"Ladies and Gentlemen, there are seven acknowledged wonders of the world—but you are about to witness the eighth." Now that's what I call an introduction. But I'm not James Brown, I'm Craig Oldham, (a Designer, and by no means the ninth wonder of the world) but, judging by the fact I can barely introduce myself, like James Brown, I can't go on.


Now then. Before you start clicking off into the ether, I'd like to tell you something. No one seems to write much on their websites anymore.

I feel that less people read things nowadays, be it a newspaper, magazine or this website. However, I am a strong believer in the power of words and, as you're reading this, I still believe that some people will read them. (And if you've read this before you'll notice little things have changed—so keep reading and well done private.)

I don't know how long this piece will take you to read (probably a lot quicker if I stopped putting things in brackets) but I find that a flashy or visually interesting logo married with an image can capture your attention for a few seconds before you flick the page (or click the mouse—oops— I'm doing it again) but, some well written copy can capture your attention for far longer.

So, if I've managed to keep your attention I suppose that means that you're interested.

I guess the main reason you're here is to see my work, however there's some other things here too that might be of interest. I've attempted to put something together about myself, what I like and all that. You can read my cv and whatever other jargon I think to write on here—like this. Or, you could just see the work.

There's work that I've completed: that's on the left, in the projects section. Then there's work and ideas that are still a twinkle in my minds eye: they're in experimental and the waiting room.

If most people don't read this page or get bored half way down, that maybe because of the bad typography (click here for an apology), but if you have stayed with me then here is a special thank you to you, even if you are one of those people who would have read it regardless.

P.S. I once said long ago that this website would involve change-aplenty, but boy was that a big stonker of a lie. OK, I've changed little bits—a tweak here and a garnish there—but I have to hold my hands up. That's right—I'm Lazy. We got Sky and that was it. But time to renew your faith in me as I'm a changed man, I've seen the light and walked into it. I've found the leaf and flipped it over. I've washed those sins from my dirty, keyboard-tapping hands.
